Exploring Student Engagement in Online Learning

چکیده

This survey study aimed to capture the actual student engagement in online learning, including intensity of engagement, barriers that prevent students from engaging, and efforts stay engaged during learning. It determined students’ English teachers’ perspectives identify differences variables among them. There were 424 participants consisting teachers 2 Senior High Schools, 1 Vocational School, Junior Schools South Sumatera, Indonesia. The questionnaire was distributed through Google Forms divided into three parts. items adopted Online Student Engagement Scale (OSE) measure Microsystem Factors Influence investigate engaging Further, all garnered data computed SPSS 25.0, facilitating an easier presentation. results this unveil moderate low barriers, high learning both teachers' perspectives. Addition-ally, these are expected be used as basis reflection evaluation program Indonesia
